I have done the rewrites, 8 days to go and I’m happy. I’m feeling relaxed, positive. I won’t be on the night though, I’ll feel like a hunted fox backed into a rabbit hole that’s blocked off, with hungry hounds baying for blood. Luckily I have this new breathing exercise which will transform that horrific woodland hunting scene into something altogether more serene.

Breathe in for the count of 4 and hold the breath for the count of 7 then let out the breath for the count of 8, repeat 3 times. Jo told me about it after she learnt it from Claire Bowditch at a singing workshop.
